He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lanczak and Francis Lanczak (Galloner); his former wife Dianne LaLonde; and his siblings, Michael Lanczak and Marge Sherman John.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Chris Lanczak (Shirley), Vern Lanczak (Tina), Marie Breslin (Mike), Jennifer Wright and Jaime Armstrong (Justin); and his grandchildren, Nickole Aguilar (Anthony), Rachel Lanczak, Haley Lanczak, Abigail Lanczak, Cavan Breslin, Joshua Breslin, Rodney Bedell, Lainie and Harlie Armstrong.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church (423 W Cedar St, Standish, MI 48658). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Lord Catholic Church (423 W Cedar St, Standish, MI 48658). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the St. Mary's Mt. Calvary Cemetery N. Eleven.
