He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith; his children, Kristin Schauger of Flint, MI, Jenny Dings (Jasynn) of West Branch, MI, Jessica Reed of Standish, MI and Mike Reed of Nashville, TN.; and his sister Rosemary Abbott. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
