With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Thomas Hodgkinson (Standish, Michigan), born in Wyandotte, Michigan, who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Hodgkinson and Louise Hodgkinson (Julian); and his brother-in-law Edward Kuciemba. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Szostak; his pets, Shamie, Savannah and Buddy; his children, Scott Hodgkinson (Kelly), Shelly Hays (Tony) and Todd Hodgkinson; his grandchildren, Ashley (Joel), Michelle, Kristine, Anthony, Amber (Jacob), Nicholas, Christopher, Elana, Erin and Leanna; his siblings, Donald (Erika), Marie, Joe (Alicia) and Yvonne; and his brother-in-law Edward Williams. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
