He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heska and Edna Heska (England); his wife Barbara "Bobbi" Heska; his grandson Steven Bradley Heska; his great grandchild Alma Grace Wazny; and his sisters, Barbara Sellers and Molly Janasik.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Marker (Ken), Glenda Garrow (Dennis), Rick Heska (Lenore) and Daryl Heska (Donna); his grandchildren, Matthew Vallad, Jessie Vallad (Britt), Philip Garrow (Vickie), Andrew Heska, Douglas Garrow (Shenna), Nicole Kozlowski (Cline) and Alyson Wazny (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Liam Vallad, Ethan Heska, Carter, Jace, Lucas Kozlowski, Jay, Kelsey Garrow, Frannie Wazny and Baby Wazny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
