He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Deem and Dorothy Deem (Williams); his brothers, Allen Deem and Lowell Deem; his son-in-law Dave Hall; and his grandchildren, David Hall, Jr. and Jolene Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy D. Kandal; and his children, Dorothy Starks (John) of Tenn, Deeanna Sherman (Ed) of Az, Carol Deem (Dan Donaghue) of Michigan, Jodee Hall of Fort Gratiot, Naomie Deem of Port Huron, Darrell Cousineau (Annette) of Bentley, Bob Cousineau (Jane) and Cindy Russell (Rod) of Standish. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 15 great, great grandchildren.
