He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bender and Edna Bender (Swartz). He is survived by: his siblings, Karlan Bender (Linda) of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Elaine Borse (Pat) of Leesburg, Indiana; his nieces and nephews, Kati Schmucker (John), Doug Bragg, Greg Bragg, Lee Bragg, Jacob Bender (Melissa) and Josh Bender; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lydia, Hannah, Abby Schmucker, Charlotte Bragg, Daniel Bender and Max Bragg. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, caregivers and friends.
