He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen "Pete" Holmes; and his brother Leonard Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Pat, Mary Lou Holmes, Larry and Debbie Holmes; his grandchildren, Kim, Tom Holloway, Kelli Holmes, Julie, Ted Gerrard, Ken, Kristi Sremba, Joe, Amy Sremba, Sally and Tim Bosch; his sister Frieda Gilbert; his friend Ed Wieck; and also Dann of Senior Helpers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
