She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Souva and Georgina Souva (Perreault); and her husband Roy "Joe" Bushey. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth L. Bushey of Spruce, Diane Travis (Tony) of Glennie, Keith J. Bushey of Spruce and DeLynn K Ruppert of Spruce; and her siblings, Norm Souva (Lorna) of Spruce, Carol Waun of Alpena, Marie Thompson (Mark) of Rogers City and Irene Debelak (Pete) of Escanaba. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
