She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Harrison "Chick" and Betty Bryant (Little); her husband Estill Newsome; and her daughters, Debbie Coffelt and Barbara Newsome.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mikkelson (Dean), Cindy Hansen, Darrell Newsome (Catherine), Gloria Newsome and Crystal Church (Corey); her grandchildren, Reatha Gates (Matthew), Derek Rockafellow (Terina), Tabitha Rockafellow (Ryan Clark), Traci Newsome (Justice Boire), Jeffrey Newsome (Beth), Jared Hansen (Stephanie) and Hadley Weller (Derrick); and her great grandchildren, Tesla, Allison, Mattison, Reanna, Justin Gates, Aisha Furgala, Lorelei Newsome and Zayden Lindahl. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
