She was predeceased by: her father Walter Lee Nichols. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Nickels, Pamela Bell, Lara Williams and Calvin Hodges III; her grandchildren, Carl Lewis, Nicolette Lewis, Allen Short, Nijah Willis, Taylor Branch, Landon Bell, Lauren Bell and Austin Bell Jr.; her sons-in-law, Cardell Nickels and Austin Bell Sr.; and her sister Diane Morgan. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
