He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patty Shaffer, James Shaffer, Gerry Sipe, Judith Otto and Betty Lou Bridger.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Shaffer (Beilfuss); his daughter Beth Newsome (Jeff); his grandchildren, Zayden Joseph and Lorelei Shirley; and his siblings, Johnni Henson, Cheri Shaffer, Larry Sipe, Paul Sipe, Linda Sipe, Deborah Miller, Lewanda Cole and Illene Mahan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
