She was predeceased by: her spouse Frederick Burkwalt; her son Jimmy A. Burkwalt; her siblings, Donald Kidder (Patricia), Dale Kidder (Leona), Roy Kidder (Florence), Corlin Kidder, Wayne Kidder, Lulu Korn (Ray), Erma Ball (Martin), Edna Tawny (Larry) and Annabelle Saylor (Bert); her sons-in-law, Robert Varney and Wendell Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Artemos Clark and Joan Kidder.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Collins, Betty Varney, Nancy Fairles (Tom), Shirley Stimer (Larry), Beverly Sims (Randall), Thomas Burkwalt (Christine), Jean Cox (John) and Jane Guisbert (David); her siblings, Mildred Clark and Perry Leon Kidder; her sister-in-law Judy Kidder; and also Eva Rottenbiller. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and many great and great – great grandchildren.
