She was predeceased by: her parents, Carson Ackley and Phyllis Ackley (Langenfeld); her husband Robert Loren Cowles; and her siblings, James Ackley, Richard Ackley and Carol Clark.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Brian and Tim; her children, Brian Cowles (Melissa) of Cincinnati, OH, Tim Cowles (Faiza) of Chicago, IL and Betsy Cowles (Slater) of Eaton Rapids; her grandchildren, Luke, Nora, Mia, Alex, Holden, Esme, Wyeth, Dylan and Vivianne; her siblings, Thomas Ackley (Vicki) of Eaton Rapids, Timothy Ackley (Jackie) of Bellaire, Cathy Cowles (Bud) of Eaton Rapids, Janice Boice (Jim) of Perry, Joseph Ackley (Pam) of Norton Shores, Robert Ackley (Annette) of Eaton Rapids, William Ackley of Eaton Rapids and Mary Patrick (Scott) of Lansing; and her sister-in-law Sue Ackley of Eaton Rapids.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (807 St Marys Blvd, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Institute of McLaren or McLaren Hospice and Palliative Care in Lansing.
