He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval "Dale" Steward and Dorothy Steward (Coppess); his sons, Kirk Steward and John Steward; his granddaughter Marion MacLean; his great grandchild Janelle Ann-Marie Steward; his brothers, Larry Steward (Marilee), Wendal Steward and Jeffery Steward; and his grandson David Steward (Danielle) of Woodland Michigan.
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Steward (Jeff Smith) of Bemidji, Minnesota; his sister Nancy Steward of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his grandchildren, Toni Depew (Jimm) of Newberry, Angelica Olson (Michael) of Longview, Brittany Bauer (Chris) of Panama City and Tyler Fox of Ionia, Michigan; his sisters-in-law, Joyce VanderLoon (Doug) of Saranac and Shelley Steward of Woodland, Michigan; his cousin Nate Foltz; and his friends, Brandon Lowe and Tammy Lumbert. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
