He was predeceased by: his parents, Hester Cunningham and Alma Cunningham (Wilemon); and his son Neal Cunningham. He is survived by: his daughter Joy Ponce (Mike) of Fruitport; his grandchildren, Jeff (Amy), Jason (Evan), Michelle (Michael), Ben (Mychael) and Nathan (Torei); his daughter-in-law Gayle Wells (Daniel); and his sister Jimmie Raye Whitehead of Mississippi. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
