He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meister and Elsa Meister (Schlosser); his sister Betty Meister; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Postema. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Jados (Mark) of Muskegon, Gary Meister (Cindy) of Muskegon and William Meister (Cheri) of Muskegon; his brother Eric Meister (Judy); his grandchildren, Becky Lynn (Mark), Ryan O'Neal (Heather), Brian Meister (Keri), Amanda Meister-Lugo (Jorge), Lisa Budwick (Deric), Julie Jackson (Francis Griswold), Robert Jados, Gary Meister II (Amber Tucker), Buddy Meister and Katelynn Meister; and his great grandchildren, Caleb O'Neal, Jacob Jackson, Jacob Lynn, Callie O'Neal, Emma Lynn, Brady Meister, Hunter Meister, Jett Jackson, Eastyn Budwick and Mackenzie Meister.
