He is survived by: his children, Herbert Way and Irene Way (Reames); his spouse Yvonne Gardner; his children, Russell Way, Jr. (Patricia) of Grands Rapids, Andrew Way of New Mexico and Susan Marris of Spring Lake; his grandchildren, Monica Despres (Gerard), Erika Betts (Kevin), David Way, Phillip Way (Rob), Katie Carpenter (Ron) and Tiffany Marris (Josh Deter); his great grandchildren, Zane Way, Brianna Despres, Bryce Despres, Spencer Betts, Bradyn Betts, Roddy Carpenter, Ezra Kingsnorth, Eloise Kingsnorth, Michael Deter and Luke Deter; and his sister-in-law Gwen Noren (Doug).
