It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Burkholder of Spring Lake, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Burkholder and Marian Burkholder (Lamoreaux); his wife Kathleen Cummings; and his siblings, Donald and Nanette.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Burkholder, Stephen Burkholder (Monica), Deb Sherman (Andrew) and Melissa Ashford (Chris, Sr.); and his grandchildren, Alexandria, Kayla, Christopher, Stephen, Andrea and Justin. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
