He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward and Rosa Strothmann (Ziegler); his son David Strothmann; his brothers, Robert and Richard Strothmann; and his siblings-in-law, James Speith and Donna Strothmann.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Speith; his sons, Steven Strothmann (Mary Anne) of Raleigh, NC and Michael Strothmann (Renate) of Norton Shores, MI; his daughter-in-law Renee Strothmann of Spring Lake; his grandchildren, Bethany Pham (Khang), Bryan Strothmann (Sarah), Nathan Strothmann (Sara) and Dr. Kelley Robrock (Logan); his siblings, Edward Strothmann (Sharon), Gerald Strothmann and Carman Speith; and his sisters-in-law, Margo Lynn Strothmann and Marietta Cox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Harbor Hospice.
