It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Young Presnell of Spring Lake, Michigan, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandmother Mary Reid (Young); and her grandson Matthew J. Van Dyke. She is survived by: her former husband Keith S. Houghtaling of Fremont, MI.; her spouse Odie; her child Kelly Van Dyke (Mitch) of Spring Lake; her grandsons, Brad (Amanda) and Jonathan Swiftney (Kristy Bootsma); her children, Jerrit and Trace Van Dyke; her great grandchildren, Millie, Addy Swiftney, Chad Houghtaling (Jen) of Grand Haven, Hannah Houghtaling, Megan, Claire, Grace and Jackson Kamsickas; and her siblings, Bonnie Makarewicz (Dave), Val Kropewnicki and Catherine Ehlers (Gary). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
