It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Vander Veen of Spring Lake, Michigan, born in Dowagiac, Michigan, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hodges and Mildred Hodges (Burney); her husband Robert C. Vander Veen (Bob); and her siblings, Leona Townsend, Donna Patzer and Weldon Hodges.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Brondyk (Daniel) of Grand Rapids; and her grandchildren, Kyle Brondyk, Kate Brondyk (Matt VanHarn) and Grace Brondyk (John Barnard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
