We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Margaret Spelman (Spring Lake, Michigan). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Rankin and Margaret Rankin; her sister Janice; her significant other Philip O. Spelman; her children, Scott, Tanya Gonzalez (Gary) of Spring Lake, MI, Sara Wykes (Dan) of Rockford Il, Mark Spelman of Bantam, CT., Wendy Bergman (John) of Hollister, CA and Megan Spelman (Vicent Poquet) of Kailua-Kona, HI; and her sister Colleen Hall (Terry). She was also cherished by her twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please keep the spirit of Peggy Spelman alive by talking to a stranger, keeping an open heart, and giggling often. Donations can be made to the Margaret Spelman scholarship fund at the University of Michigan School of Nursing or the Philip and Margaret Spelman Muse Garden at the South Haven Community Foundation.
