He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Potter and Virginia Potter (McNinch). He is survived by: his wife Terry Richter-Potter; and his siblings, Diana Kirby, Rebecca Todd (Randy), Regina Nelson (Tom), Janet Potter, Jennifer Melvin (Bob), Robert Butcher (Priscilla) and Jeff Potter (Brenda Durham). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
