He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Twa and Marjorie Twa (Vink); his brother Tim Twa; his father-in-law Robert Young; his stepfather-in-law Al VerBerkmoes; and his brother-in-law Jack Leatherman.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Twa (Young); his sons, Adam Twa (Rachel) of Grand Haven and Benjamin Twa (Katy) of Norton Shores; his granddaughters, McKenna, Molly, Genevieve (Evie) and Cora; his siblings, Kristin Wagar (Jim), Theresa Twa (Paul Winsemius), Mary Borchers (Dan), Doug Twa (Carol), Mark Twa (Marilyn), Jeff Twa (Mary), Paul Twa (Jackie), Matthew Twa (Rhonda), Robert Jr. Twa (Tina), Jim Twa, Tom Twa (Monica) and David Twa (Bri); his mother-in-law Dorothy VerBerkmoes (Young); and his sisters-in-law, Karen Leatherman, Kathy Lawson (Ron) and Lisa Young. He is also survived by 10 brothers and three sisters, meeting family and friends, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship type program has been established with the Careerline Tech Center and the Grand Haven Community Foundation to support students interested in learning and preserving wood / skilled trades craftsmanship.
