He is survived by: his children, Margaret Strainer, Amy Brochu (John), Jeannine Howell, Margery Richardson and John Strainer (Michelle); his brother James Strainer (Julie); and his wife Marilyn Schumer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
