He is survived by: his wife Claudia Howe; his children, Leslie Rymal (Ric), Graham Howe (Dawn), Wendy Murray (Tom), Christopher Howe (Karen) and Lori Haney-Dirkse; his grandchildren, Lucas, Hilary, Alec, Spencer, Peyton, Brendon, Grant, Emily and Katie; and his brother Gregory Howe. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
