He is survived by: his wife Dee; his sons, Jason Bird (Jen), Steven Bird (Lizzie) and Kevin Bird (Taryne); his grandchildren, Trevor, Ellie and Mason; his sister Judy Novak (Bill); and his nephews, Jeff Novak (Melissa) and Ben Novak (Rachael).
