He is survived by: his former wife Jeanette Heckaman; his wife Betty Everling; his friends, Notre Dame and Hubs; his children, Mark Chidister (Peggy) of Ames, Randy Chidister (Bobbie) of South Bend and Katherine Chidister of Elkhart; his sisters, Sally Unsicker and Patty Hupp (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Anderson and Marshall Heckaman (Sharon). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
