It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry Lee Kieft of Spring Lake, Michigan, born in Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Kieft and Helen Kieft (Jannenga); his son Douglas Garry; his sister Ruth Kelly; and his siblings-in-law, Harry Kelly and Cheryl Vanderwel.
He is survived by: his wife Francine Ruth Vanderwel of Muskegon; his children, Ruth Kieft Baldus, David Kieft (Robin) and Daniel Kieft (Alana); his grandchildren, Stephanie Kieft, Aria Richardson (James), Kathryn Kieft (Kyle Walter), Maria White (Logan), Collin Kieft (Jessica) and Alec Kieft; his great grandchild Francina Richardson; and his siblings-in-law, Phillip Vanderwel and Donna Vandyken (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Love in Action or Grand Haven Christian School are appreciated.
