He was predeceased by: his father Henry Kooiman. He is survived by: his mother Donna May Kooiman (Juhnke) of Grand Haven; his wife Lynda Kooiman of Spring Lake; his children, Angenieta Eliopulos and Joseph E. Kooiman; his grandchildren, Zander Kooiman, Samantha, Danielle Eliopulos and Robert Brock; his great grandchildren, Elijah and Ava Kay; his siblings, Marva Ringelberg (Phil), Kirk Kooiman (Chari) and Jon Kooiman (Tami); and his siblings-in-law, Michael, Stephan (Sandra), Larry Barrett and Norene Hendricks (Rudy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
