He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred S. Gibbs and Elsa M. Gibbs (Cain); and his siblings, Michael Krutsch, Donna Moran (Fred) and Roberta Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Linda F. Potter; his children, Scott Gibbs and Malissa Grimes; his grandchildren, Andrew Gibbs (Catie), Andrea Fether (Jacob), Zachary Gibbs (Lydia), Tylor Gibbs (Makenzie Sexton), Hannah Gibbs, Gabby Gibbs, Amberly Grimes and Trenton Grimes; his sisters, Juanita Truman and Martha Kearbey (Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Fredrickson (Tom), Donna Swihart (Dan) and Kathy Krutsch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
