He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Murphy (Pam Murphy); his parents, Ann Doody and Lloyd Murphy; and his brothers, Jim Murphy and John Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anulewicz-Murphy; his children, Terri Gier (Brad), Michael Murphy (Kim) and Julie Flager (Brandon); and his siblings, Rosemary Murphy-Day, Howard Murphy (Maggie), Cindy Murphy-Stosick and Rick Murphy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Jackson Cascade Humane Society, a cause close to Gerald's heart.
