He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Edgar and Laura Sarah Prouty (Williams); his former wife Edna Prouty; and his brother Paul Prouty. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Jenelle" Prouty; his sons, Nathan Prouty (Kathy) of Virginia and Phillip Prouty (Marge) of New York; his stepsons, Randy Mason (Diana) of Indiana, Don Mason of Spring Arbor, MI, Terry Mason (Robbie) of Israel and Gary Mason (Jill) of Spring Arbor, MI; and his siblings, Dick Prouty (Linda) of New York and Edith Duncan of Ohio. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
