He is survived by: his significant other Carol Capek; his children, Jim, Deb Holland, Heather Holland and Casey Potes; his grandsons, Sylas Porter-Potes, Oliver Bertolini, Henry Holland and Anthony Bertolini; his siblings, Steve, Pat Potes, Sue and Mike Seward; his cousin Kelly Potes; his parents-in-law, Anne and Richard Capek; his siblings-in-law, Michael Charrette, Jane Capek-Myers, Rich, Ann Capek, Steve, Janice Capek, Ellen, Dennis VanderWel and Andrew Capek; his aunt Ethel; and his uncle Jerry Potes. He is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews on both sides of his family.
