It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Mark Knapp of Sparta, Michigan, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Robert Knapp and Ralph Myrkle. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Knapp and Mary Knapp (Myrkle); his wife Melinda Phillips; his siblings, Robert Knapp (Hollie), Julianne Minnie (Josh) and Melody Leszczar (Timothy); his parents-in-law, Mike and Linda Phillips; his grandmothers, Barbara Knapp and Mary Louise Myrkle; his aunt Kathy Myrkle; and his siblings-in-law, Megan Rudanovic (Mitar), Meridith Porter (Andrew), Manda Phillips, Morgan Parsons (Chris), Molly Phillips (Brendan), Matthew Pillips (Anna), Michael Phillips (Amy), Mitchell Phillips (Megan) and Reece Phillips (Gretchen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other aunts and uncles.

Masks and social distancing will be required at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
