It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley June Knutson of Sparta, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thurkettle and Harriet Thurkettle (Short); her husband Donald G. Knutson Sr.; her son Kurt Knutson; and her daughter-in-law Janie Flint-Knutson.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Knutson Jr. (Judith) of Grand Rapids, Craig Knutson of Sparta and William Knutson (Marcia) of Fountain; and her daughter-in-law Robin Knutson of Fountain. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
