He was predeceased by: his children, Cheri Baughman (Churchard) and Michael Churchard; his daughter-in-law Patricia Churchard; and his brother Wally Churchard. He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Jr., Gary, Thomas, Joseph and John; his husband Judy Kovera; his grandchildren, Dillon, Laura, Tyler, Rachael, Tommy, Emily and Walter; and also, Guy Kovera, Kevin and Craig.
However, in lieu of flowers, people may send donations to the American Cancer Society.
