He was predeceased by: his parents, David Schaefer and Mae Schaefer (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Welch); and his children, Vonda Berdyck (Jeff) of Allendale, Deborah Rymut (Mike) of Chesterfield Twp, Michael Schaefer (Vicky) of LeRoy, Steven Schaefer (Dawn) of Carolina Shores, N. C. and Tina Schaefer of Hersey. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
