She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Katsma and Agnes Katsma (Vander Werf); her children, Mary Lou Spoelstra and William J. Snip; and her siblings, Anna Mae DeRidder, Bud Katsma and Bob Katsma.
She is survived by: her children, Carole Hurley (Rick) and James Snip (Laura); her grandchildren, Jason Spoelstra, Jesse Spoelstra (Alyice), Seth Spoelstra, Christopher Hurley, Ashley Snip and Isabella Snip; her great grandchildren, Noah Galambos and Jonas Spoelstra; her sisters, Joyce Bergsma (Bob) and Marilyn Vander Klok (Ralph); and her friend Bill Kotchka.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Christian Reformed Church (660 S State St, Sparta, MI 49345). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be given to Trinity CRC or Faith Hospice.
