He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Nowicki; his parents, Harry Nowicki and Alice Nowicki; and his siblings, Harry Nowicki and Pheobe Dykema.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy McPhee (Craig) and James Nowicki; his grandchildren, Danielle Nowicki, Taylor Anderson (Ryan), Anna McPhee, Andrew McPhee and Alex McPhee; his great grandchild Trace Anderson; and his sisters, Rosemary Wysocki and Barbara Poole. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Corewell Health Hospice.
