It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Wamser of Sparta, Michigan, born in Bailey, Michigan, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Detwiler and Hazel Detwiler (Barnum); her husband Keith Wamser; and her siblings, Eileen Bonter, Violet Deur and Esman Detwiler.
She is survived by: her son Mark; her grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Austin, Ericka, Zachary and Megan; her daughter Loretta Rector; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Dan and Julie (Zoe); and her siblings, Esther Austin (Frank) and Bill Detwiler. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
