He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Snyder and Bernice Snyder (Moltz); his son John E. Snyder; his granddaughter Alicia Tompkins; his sister Jean Mercer (Vern); and his stepfather Irvin Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Jim Snyder and Suzanne "Sue" Byrne (Pat); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Jonathan and Kim; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Collin, Avery, Alyssa and Joslyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either Alzheimer's Association or the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation.
