She was predeceased by: her brother Jeffrey Boorsma; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Charette and Pamela Capek. She is survived by: her husband Andrew; her children, Sarah Chorman (Josh), Jacob Capek and Daniel Capek; her grandchildren, Maci, Brielle and Colton; and her siblings, Lorinda Butler, Neil Butler, Michael Butler, Anne Capek, Michael Charrette, Jane Capek-Myers, Richard Capek, Jr., Steven Capek, Janice Capek, Carol Capek-Potes, Tim Capek-Potes, Ellen VandenWel and Dennis VandenWel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
