She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank VandenHeuvel and Jane VandenHeuvel (Vidro); and her siblings, Bonnie VandenHeuvel, Tom and Nick VandenHeuvel.
She is survived by: her caregiver Tom Pieper; her children, Thomas Pieper Jr. (Renee), Andrew Pieper (Roxanne Donovan), Nathan Pieper (Jolynn) and Amanda Jorgensen (Jason); her sisters, Joy Rowland (Chuck) and Wendy Hanson (Gordie); and her mother-in-law Norma Pieper. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several brothers and sisters-in law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
