He was predeceased by: his father Jack Gerard. He is survived by: his wife Stacey Carlson-Gerard; his children, Angela Gerard and Justin Gerard (Shauna Levandoski); his granddaughter Ella Gerard; his brother Randy Gerard (Sarah); his nieces, Alexis Gerard and Jasmine Gerard; his parents-in-law, Roger and Kathy Carlson; his brothers, Byron (Lisa Bloom) and Bruce (Kirsten Malsberger); his friends, Mike Minnema and Kathy Jo Barnaby; and his close friend Duane Merryweather.
