He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Faber and Elizabeth Faber; and his brothers, Jack Faber (Esther) and Ted Faber (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Faber; his daughters, Laurie Pant (Gordy), Mary Antor (Ron), Kristi Caine (Daren) and Sharon Aune (Corey); his grandchildren, Amanda Anderson (Ryan), Kelly Dykstra (Nicholas), Paul Pant (Kaleigh), David Pant (Anna), Kimberly Pant (Jonathon), Jason, Jacob, Abigail, Samuel Pant, Ila, Adam Antor, Bryan, Justin, Olivia, Victoria, William Caine, Luke, Annah, Cy Aune, Eliza, Zeke, Elsie, Isaiah Anderson, Elliot, Amelia, Owen George Dykstra and Nora Pant; and his siblings, Kathy Ritsema (Hardy) and Bob Faber (Deannie).
