It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Ann Hawley (Sparta, Michigan), born in Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William LaFollette and Leotta May LaFollette (Wilson); her son Tom Allan Hawley; her brother Tom Wayne Smith; her husband George Hawley Jr.; her children, Dan (Jacki LaFollette), Kelly (Randy VandePanne), David (Brenda Pyne) and Tony (Amy Hawley); and her siblings, Gene (Verna Ashley), Bill (Susie LaFollette), Sandy (Derald Rhineberger), Fred (Sharon Shotts) and Marty Smith. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
