Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bettie Jane Shelner of Sparta, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 70, on September 25, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lettau and Irma Lettau (Randall); her husband Earle Shelner; and her siblings, Mary Radtke and Gordy Saunders.
She is survived by: her sons, Earle II Shelner (Paula) and Chris Shelner (Jeff Wells); her grandchildren, Skylar and Gilmar Shelner; her sister Lois Lynn; and her friends, Pam Hoezee and Marge Garske. She is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
Family will meet visitors at Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home in Sparta on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM where Covid 19 restrictions with social distancing and masks will be followed.
