With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernadine Marie Poling (Sparta, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on May 7, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Johnson and Oneta Johnson; her husbands, Arthur Mockerman and Donald Poling; her son Richard Mockerman; her sons-in-law, Bry Russell and Christopher Finney; and her brothers, Glenn Johnson and Walter Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Teckla Lane (Mike), Sandra Finney, Wahneta Cornell (Chuck), Leesa Russell and Fred Mockerman; her stepchildren, Steve Poling (Mary), Alan Poling (Gwen), Mark Poling and Ruth Poling; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Terry Brittain, Chris Finney, Charlton, Nokle Finney, Bridgette, Alex Phipps, Robert Mockerman, Rick, Amy Mockerman, Amanda Mockerman, Tiffany, Bruce Marlow, Anthony Cornell, Charles Russell and Kate Russell. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren.
Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until time of service at 2:00 P.M. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society.
