It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Claxton of Sparta, Michigan, who passed away on December 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Wetherbee and Audra Wetherbee; and her husband Wendell Lloyd Claxton. She is survived by: her children, Brian Claxton (Mary Pugh) of Denver, Roxanne Claxton of Hudsonville, Greg Claxton (Pamela) of Wyoming, Dan Claxton (Mary) of Walker, Angela Shamery (Steve) of Hudsonville, Susana Iglesias of Uruguay and Hans-Peter Barz of Germany; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Kendall, Harlow, Olivia, Braeden, Colin, Graham, Lila, Makenzie, Carys and Leif; and her siblings, June Florinchi, Wally Wetherbee (Theresa) and John Wetherbee (Nancy). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren plus spouses.
